Pushed to the limits

Too often we spend all of our time seeking God for answers to our problems when what we should be doing is just seeking God. Sometimes God pushes us to our limits. It’s because he has greater faith in us than we have in ourselves. No matter what you are going through remember God is there fighting the battle with you, every step of the way. Let God take your pain and turn it into something great. Put your energy towards bettering your life and starting something new. God allows certain things to happen for a reason. Circumstances will either direct you, correct you, or perfect you. There is no greater feeling than knowing that Jesus has got my back. He knows my name. He knows my every thought. He sees each tear that falls And hears me when I call. I can’t. You can’t. We can’t. But GOD can so let go and let GOD!

The thoughts pummel my brain nonstop…I can stop the negative thoughts of self-talk. When you hear your thoughts turning negative stop and replace those thoughts with positive thoughts. Reword what you were thinking and place them into positive thoughts.

Oftentimes, the fast pace of the day takes a toll on us. Try sitting in silence for a few moments and breathing. breathe out the bad thoughts of the day and breathe in calmness and quiet. Learning to deal with feelings of frustration, anger, hurt, or disappointment can be a really big job for any person—but understanding how to deal with negative feelings is an essential part of the change. Mindful breathing exercises for you can really help with that. Outlined below are four easy breathing techniques that can be done when you pull up in your driveway at home and turn off the car.

The Flower Breath: Imagine smelling a flower. Breathe in through your nose, out through your mouth. Simple enough right?

The Bunny Breath: Take three quick sniffs through the nose and one long exhales through the nose.

The Snake Breath: Inhale slowly through the nose and breathe out through the mouth with a long, slow hissing sound.

Blow Out the Candle: Imagine a birthday candle. Take in a deep breath through the nose and then exhale through the mouth to blow out the candle.

I hope these exercises help you clear your mind and reframe your attitude. Don’t forget to thank God for all the blessings he has given you, and remember these stressful times are temporary. Let me know. Have a blessed day.
