Hard Times

When hard times come, it’s surprising how quickly our plans are disrupted. In the blink of an eye, failing health, depleted resources, or shattered hopes and dreams. “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is” Jermiah 17:7 You have to trust in God, that his plan is much better than your plan. God has a reason for everything.

Hard time

With so much chaos and confusion going on in the world, you may have wondered if we’re living in the end times—and you may have even seen predictions that say we are. But keep your faith while God’s Word encourages us to be ready for Jesus’s return, it also reminds us that “concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only” (Matthew 24:36, ESV

God tells us to fix our eyes on Him. Eventually, you are going to see what God is doing or what God has done or you are going to be so focused on Him that you will not be focused on anything else. You must trust in God and his plan. “Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe, and have that everything will work out for the best.”

Every time a negative thought enters your mind, picture yourself sitting at the computer, hitting the backspace key, and deleting the negative thought. They replace that negative thought with a good thought. Manifest good happening to you and how it feels. It’s important to remember that God has not forsaken you. “When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.” Picture yourself coming out of the storm, and how much stronger you will be afterward. Most importantly pray to God about relief of your situation. I hope these thoughts have helped you change your attitude about the hard times. Remember hard times are temporary and having them helps us to see how blessed we are during good times. Count your blessings…Have a blessed day.
